Eligibility Requirements
To be considered eligible for these grants, the students enrolled in interuniversity programs or double degree Master or Doctorate UIB and doctoral students under a co-guardianship international and enrolled in a doctoral program at the UIB and other similar cases as long as there is a valid collaboration agreement for carrying out curricular activities. Applicant doctoral students must meet all the requirements of the doctoral program (approved controls, thesis letter and research plan presented and approved, etc.) at the time of evaluation of the application

Description of the scholarship:
The Center for Postgraduate Studies (CEP), the Doctoral School of the University of the Balearic Islands (EDUIB) and the Vice-Rector’s Office for Research and Internationalization, together with the sponsorship of Banco Santander, with the aim of contributing to the improvement convinced of the importance of scientific progress, research, training excellence, mobility and professional qualification for the development of society, provided the necessary funding to create an Impulse, Mobility and Internationalization Program aimed at the official postgraduate studies of the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB).
This call gives the basis and instructions for requesting adjustments for the fourth of these lines: Aid for the mobility of students of the UIB linked to double degrees and interuniversity degrees of Master’s and Doctoral and doctoral theses in regime of international co-supervision or similar cases (in collaboration with the SRI).
This line of the program offers a grant that will be used to contribute to the following expenses: payment of fees, academic supervision, travel expenses not covered by agreements, accommodation and living expenses. The maximum expense, per applicant, will be:
- For stays less than or equal to one week: ? 200 per week, or proportional part
- For stays between one week and one month: ? 500 per month, or proportional part
- For stays between one month and one semester: ? 1200 per semester, or proportional part. The amount of these grants could be higher if the budgetary circumstances of the CEP / EDUIB and the SRI allow it.

The call will remain open from the day of its publication until May 18, 2020 and there will be four resolutions during this period, September 27, 2019, November 22, 2019, February 21, 2020 and May 22, 2020.
